Man of the Year
Man of the Year was a theatrical piece composed for 20 (old) harmoniums, 1 singer (soprano) and 2 people who walk around. This piece was a result of the quixotic and arduous efforts made by a group of composers (den haag all stars) who attempted to re-visit ‘the vibe’ of a concert they once took part in (see, concert for 20 out-of-tune pianos).
Thanks to the help of the Nutshuis in Den Haag this effort was to a large degree supported and this help allowed the composers to embark upon their rather insane musical ambition.
Special thanks to all the players, too many to mention! And to Camille Hesketh for coming into sing at the last minute.
